ANTIOXIDANT SMOOTHIE 🙂

 

 

GREEN TEA BLEND

 

Antioxidant-rich green tea makes this healthy smoothie a nutritional powerhouse

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 3 tablespoons water – just boiled
  • Green Tea Bag of your Choice
  • 2 teaspoons Honey – 
  • Cup of Frozen Blueberries – or other berries if you prefer – whatever’s in your freezer – this is meant to be inspiration not a prescription 🙂
  • 1 Banana
  • Cup of Milk – Cow/Soya/Almond – what’s your preference?..

Instructions: Simple as 1, 2, 3…

 

  1. Add the boiling water to the teabag and brew for 3 or 4 minutes – remove teabag and add the honey to the hot tea while still warm enough to dissolve it
  2. Blend the Berries, Banana and Milk until Smooth then add the tea/honey infusion and blend until smooth
  3. Drink it – there may be enough to share – not so far in my experience but maybe I’m greedy…! Enjoy 🙂
